The Committee of Senior Officials in Cost approved the suggestion put forward by Norway. The network will receive support from March 2006 – March 2010. Details of the working plan of the network (called action in Cost) can be found at http://www.cost.esf.org/index.php?id=181&action_number=867 under MoU. You also see which countries are signing or preparing to sign.
As soon as your country has initiated signing you can be reimbursed for travel cost when participating at meetings/activities in the action. If you are outside Cost nations, and mentioned in the original MoU (Presently Australia, Canada, Israel and New Zeeland) you can participate on your own expense. However, you might be reimbursed if participating as experts. The action is presently setting up a web page (http://www.fishwelfare.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1) where we will post relevant information and you as an individual or institution can register for the action. We will also have our first workshop located in Arcachong, France, 9-11th of October-2006. |
